Study On The Preparation Of PA6/ZnO And PA6/basic Zinc Carbonate Nanofibers Composites

In this thesis, by coordination homogenious precipitation method, basic zinc carbonate nanofibers and nano-ZnO particles had been prepared successfully. Based on the functional mechanism of coupling agents grafted on inorganic particles, a proper structure of silane coupling agent grafting modification on nano-zinc oxide was proposed, two silane coupling agents structures were calculated by Gaussian 03.The calculation indicated that: KH550 and KH560 were effective modifications, KH560 was more suitable. The experiments matched well with calculation.Using in-situ polymerisation nylon 6/nano-zinc oxide and nylon 6/nanofibers composites were gained. The nanocomposites were studied by UV,FT-IR,XRD,SEM,DSC,TGA et al.The study of Nylon 6/nano-zinc oxide composites shows that, nano-zinc oxide was dispersed well in the composites; the crystal of nylon 6 was not changed with nano-zinc oxide. The nanocomposites possessed desired property, such as the increased ultraviolet resistant, the decreased water absorption property et al. But the mechanical properties of nanocomposites are not so perfect due to the addition of fillers, but the property of PA6/ KH560-ZnO composites are more excellent.Nylon 6/nanofibers composites which prepared by in-situ polymerisation, wereαcrystal. TGA analysis showed that the decomposition temperature of nanocomposites was much higher. The properties such as tensile, tensile modulus, impact strength, et al, are improved due to the addition of nanofibers, and the mechanical properties are the highest when the nanofibers were 3%. The water absorption was improved with the nanofibers increasing.
