The traditional design of Wood-cutting Tools is making of material,molding of cutting tools, cutting experiment,optimazing of structure and geometry parameter and final product of cutting tools. This always taks us a lot of time and money and it also needs lots of people.So how to design the reasonable parameters of cutting tools with less time and fewer people is a urgent prolem in front of us.The paper first get some mechanical parameters through experiment ,then based on the idea of number simulation,simulated the Process of the orthodoxy cutting through the technology of number imitation,which based on the general internationallarge software ANSYS precisely and vividly. With this method,we acquired the intensity of the longitudinal shearing,then compared this value with the result acquired though experiment .At the same time ,we can also analysise the form of the shearing area and the change Process of the stress .Through this method,we studied the change rule of the the wood cutting performance. This is a good attempt for virtual design of Wood-cutting Tools.
