Perforated completion is using perforator to create fluid flow channels in the pay zone (oil, gas and water). The purpose of perforation is penetrating the casing tube, cement sheath and a certain depth of the formation and forming unhindered channels for oil and gas flowing into the well casing. In perforated completion oil & gas wells, research and application of perforating techniques, selecting of perforators and bullets, mechanism of damage and perforated parameters optimization design directly influence the oil & gas well productivity.Recent years, as the work of oil field exploration and development going deep, the researching formation conditions become worse and worse, the well's production status become more and more complicated, searching new original oil in place and keeping oilfields production steady become harder and harder. So, as a necessary process of the oil & gas field exploration and development, more and more rigorous demands are put forward for the perforated technology. Scholars and specialists of the world have done a lot of researches and got some achievements in evaluating and improving the perforation results. The pilot research on rules of perforated parameters influencing productivities are conducted and the optimization design software is developed; series of comparative integrated system of perforated bullet researching, fabricating and inspecting are established; some perforation technology aimed on protect oil and gas formation are developed.Two aspects have been researched in this project. The first is that the perforating parameters ranges were enlarged, shot depth is 50mm-500mm, diameter is 5mm-50mm, shot density is 1-40 hole/m, angular phase is 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°, 120°, 180°, 360°. By computing on various projects, the influencing curves of perforating parameters acting on oil well productivities are given. These achievements can meet the needs of perforation optimization works, etc. in a comparative long time. Also, these achievements have important instruction meaning to developnew high efficiency perforator.The second is based on the fine geologic study results, applying the percolation theory to analyze, using hydrodynamic mechanism to built perforating optimization models, optimizing perforating parameters of different permeability formations to achieve the purposes of optimizing perforation, adjusting production profile, improving developed situations of oil formation.
