Phase relations in the Er-Mn-Nd ternary system at 773K and Pr-Fe-Sb ternary system at 773K have been investigated in this work. The main contents of them were related as followed:1. The isothermal section of Er-Mn-Nd ternary system at 773KPhase relations in the Er-Mn-Nd ternary system at 773K have been investigated by means of X-ray diffraction technique and diffirrential thermal analysis. Seven binary compounds have been confirmed through our study: ErMn2, NdMn2 , Er6Mn23, Nd6Mn23 , ErMn12 , NdMn12 and δ. No ternary compound has been found at this isothermal section. According to the results of experiment, we constructed the phase diagram of Er-Mn-Nd ternary system at 773K. It consists of six three-phase regions, fourteen two-phase regions and nine single-phase regions in this isothermal section.2. The isothermal section of Pr-Fe-Sb ternary system at 773KPhase relations in the Pr-Fe-Sb ternary system at 773K have been investigated by means of X-ray diffraction technique, optical microscope method and diffirrential thermal analysis. Eight binary compounds have been confirmed through our study: PrSb2, PrSb, Pr4Sb3, Pr5Sb3, Pr2Sb, FeSb2, FeSb and Fe17Pr2. Three ternary compounds Fe13Pr6Sb , Fe1-xPrSb2 and Fe4PrSb12 were confirmed. There may exist two new ternary compounds. One of them is FePrSb3 and the other is Fe2PrSb2. According to the results of experiment, we constructed the phase diagram of Pr-Fe-Sb ternary system at 773K. It consists of 16 single-phase regions, 34 two-phase regions and 19 three-phase regions.
