There are various geographical and ecological features in Huangshan City. The thesis gives an eco-environment quality evaluation index system by analyzing its geographical and ecological features, which is composed of 11 factors on topography&geomorphology, land cover and hydrothermal regime. On the support of RS and GIS, the method of factor analyze has been used to value the eco-environment quality of Huangshan. And then the thesis gives a grade evaluation map of Eco-environment quality of Huangshan according to the compilation satandard of thematic map. Also, the thesis makes some effort on the spatial pattern of Huangshan Eco-environment quality in three sides: the whole Huangshan City, each eco-environment quality evaluation grade and each region.Some conclusions can be made. The eco-environment quality of the whole Huangshan City is quite good. The Eco-environment quality evaluation grade is in partial normal distribution. The eco-environment quality in most of the area is good, which is 63.45% of the whole area of Huangshan City. Also, there're obvious differences among these areas. The northern area, especially Huangshan district, is better because of high scale of vegetation and less of influence of human being as its high attitude has restricted human activities. The eastern area is worse, including She County, Tunxi district and Huizhou district. These areas are so flat that it's highly impressed on human activities. We must take some measures to deal with the conflict between human being and the earth.The thesis puts forward some countermeasures to develop both the society, economic and ecology in Huangshan City.
