The Development Of Region MIS For Pollution Source Based On ComGIS

With the development of modern society, Information Technologies were wildly used and quickly spread, Environmental Information System (EIS) plays a more and more important role in the information society. The development of environmental information technology offers new thoughts and ways to the environmental management, and promotes the upgrade of environmental management.The management of pollution source is a basic task of environmental management, the realization of information management; analyzing and visible expression of environmental pollution source is an important symbol for advancing the information of urban environmental management and environmental decision.Based on ComGIS, the author integrated MapObjects with Visual Basic to develop the system, and attained the designed objects of Area Management Information system for pollution source.After the second-time exploitation, the system created friendly interface and convenient operation menu, and fulfilled the construction, management, analyze, visible expression of spatial date and attribute date of environmental information. At the same time it fulfilled the connection, exchange and update between system and peripheral instant data. The realization of other functions (such as the web promulgating of instant information, the data exchange based on web) needs to realize in a further development.
