The design method of the traditional production face is that people usually remain 15 to 30 meters' safety coal pillar when they arrange the roads between two ad joint working face . In recent years , a lot of factors that is caused by the continuous progress of mine shaft and technological transformation and mining work technique revolution and history residual questions , for example debalance of preparation and mining work and unreasonable work face design , cause the question of actual mining of isolated island that be formed because people advance mine seam of high-deep ad joint sections of production face to be new subject that many mine shafts are facing . As fully caving method being improved , arranging actual mining roadway technology of road retained for next goaf and road driving along next goaf has be a kind of new think and effective way that many mine shafts improve resource recycle efficiency and economic benefits and lengthen service period of mine shaft . So , studying supporting method of the isolated island coal seam road driving along next goaf in special condition and finding a good supporting method is very essential.107 fully caving face whose narrow pillar along next goaf shows slacking , soft, bulky , flow properties in WeiJiadi mine shaft belongs to typical isolated island seam . The article has got the reasonable narrow pillar width and the best parameter and supporting style of combining anchor stock with cable anchor to go on coupling supporting on using theory and practice , according to strength theory that using high-strength anchor stock to support and strengthen adjoining rock in road and anchorage dome of equilibrium theory , applying theoretical computational method , engineering analogy method and in-situ monitoring method .
