With the increasing of demand for high performance of product and the severity of market competition, to ensure the surface quality of parts and realize the dynamic stability in the manufacturing process of precision part has become important. So, it is necessary to research on the establishing of the cutting vibration monitor and analysis system and apply the system to the cutting process of precision part.In this paper, firstly,the framework of cutting vibration monitor and analysis system is built based on the methods of cutting vibration data acquisition and the using of Virtual Instrument technology. The time-domain and the frequency-domain analytical methods of vibration signal are researched and vibration intensity is selected as the sensitive factor during the vibration monitoring.Secondly, the paper disserts on the designing and development of the cutting vibration monitor and analysis system. The PC-DAQ structure is used in hardware structure of the system; the ADLINK data acquisition card-DAQ2206 and the ICP accelerometer are selected to fulfill the high speed data acquisition; the hardware have such advantages as flexible extension, convenient operation and cheap cost, and so on. The modularized and leveled design method is applied during the software design. The virtual instrument platform LabVIEW is selected as the software developing platform. The problem of high-speed data saving is solved by using of the multithreading technology and the multi-cache technology. The problem of channel delay is solved by suitable parameters setting.At last, a series of experiment in which base part is selected as the study object is carried out to collect and to analyze the cutting vibration data. The process optimization is obtained by selecting suitable cutting parameters and fixing method.
