The mud craft technology has become the important constituent of the modern oil gas and well drilling project. The domestic and foreign massive materials indicated that the mud has the important role of directly relating the well drilling cost, even affecting the well drilling success or failure that carries and suspends the rock debris, stabilize wall of a well and balance stratum pressure, cool and the lubricate drill bit,drilling tools and transmit hydrodynamic force and so on in the well drilling process . The well drilling practice also proved that, mud performance quality, use, maintenance and processing measure are whether appropriate, directly affects the wall of a well the stability, but the wall of a well stability relates the geological data the enrollment, the well drilling speed, the quality and the cost, therefore, the people often analogy the mud as the well drilling blood. Therefore, the real-time measuring to the mud performance parameter appears very important.In the paper, the detailed elaboration mud has important role in well drilling process as well as the mud various performance parameter to the well drilling process influence, simultaneously studied and proposed the mud various performance parameter survey principle and the method. In this foundation, this paper further has also studied the digital signal sampling principle, and has analyzed the digital signal four processing method as well as each method suitable signal type. In addition ,this article also in detail elaborated the logical organization and the software and hardware design of the virtual measure system, and develops the platform take Visual C++, object-oriented utilizes (the OOP software design method), constructed a set complete, the graph has been lifelike and the function formidable virtual instrument for shaker mud parameters measurement. This instrument software is composed of the data acquisition and the pretreatment module, the data analysis and the data display, the data storage with returned to puts, the assistance function module four parts, and has realized to signal gathering, processing, the analysis and the demonstration. This measure system may carry on the real-time measurement to the mud performance parameter, and make information gathering and processing integration, data and result visible. Moreover, comparing with the traditional hardware measurement, the efficiency of measurement is vitally enhanced. Meanwhile through to the classify error classification and research the error processing method, the paper has analyzed error source of the virtual instrument for shale shaker mud parameters measurement, and proposed the revision method and the revision measure. In this paper, the virtual instrument for shale shaker mud parameters measurement is not only a successful try that applies virtual instrument technology for mud parameters measurement, but also to support the development orientation of the measurement technology. In addition, the paper's research has highlighted the virtual instrument merits of data-processing capacity, high precision, high efficiency, low-cost, open and extensible, friendly interface and operation convenience. Therefore, as a new generation of measurement instrument and measurement technology development, virtual instrument can replace traditional hardware instrument, become a measurement instrument that can be extended abroad.
