Nyloy 6 is a kind of useful engineering plastics, and the enhancement of the performance of nylon 6 is attracted great attention both in academia and industry. Attapulgite (AT) is a kind of novel natural nano-materials, and the surface modification of AT and its mechanism are crucial aspects for the application of AT in plastic industry. Nylon 6/AT nanocomposites and the relationship between the structure and properties of the composites were studied in this thesis.In present thesis nylon6/AT nanocomposites were prepared by extruding method.
