Dioscorea zingiberensis C.H. Wright, is an important unique economic plant, the Roots contains rich diosgenin. And it's widely used in industry, medicine and food. It can be used as the foundation raw material and the outset intermediate to synthesizes the body hormone medicine, and has very high value for medicinal purposes . Existing technology of diosgenin of Dioscorea zingiberensis C.H. Wright adopts traditional acid solution combining traditional petrol extraction directly, The process has is low yield , high cost, long cycle, sour pollutant and is flammable and explosive.This paper studied the technology of extracting diosgenin from Dioscorea zingiberensis C.H. Wright by supercritical carbon dioxide. Take diosgenin extraction yield as the inspection target, the effects of extraction temperature, pressure, the dosage of entrainer, carbon dioxide amount and extract time were studied.According to the experiment, diosgenin extraction yield was first increases, and then reduced along with the rise of temperature ;diosgenin extraction yield increases with dosage of entrainer and extract time and also the increase of extract pressure; diosgenin extraction yield was first increases, and then reduced along with carbon dioxide amount increasing. At the same time, the influence of various factors were compared: pressure > dosage of entrainer > temperature > carbon dioxide flux.This paper inspected four kinds of extracting operation methods: Without entrainer in static mode; static mode with entrainer; Without entrainer in flowing mode; flowing mode with entrainer. The result indicated that, in four kind of extracting operation methods flowing mode with entrainer is best. It has quick speed and high final yield.The best extraction conditions were determined by orthogonal test. Extract pressure: 35MPa, extract temperature: 45 ℃, carbon dioxide flux: 12 kilogram per hour, entrainer (methanol) 300ml extract time 4hour. Under the best extraction conditions the best yield of diosgenin is 9.81%.
