Zero-chain technology is an important development trend of CNC gear hobbing machine. It not only can heavily enhance machine tool's machining precision and velocity, totally solve abrasion problem existed in transmission chain, hold machine tool's precision for a long time, but also can greatly simplify mechanical structure, improve machine tool's static and dynamic stiffness. Zero-chain structure is also good for design and manufacture of reconfigurable machine tool. From point of mechanical structure, zero-chain technology can bring great changes for hobbing/workpiece shaft of zero-chain gear hobbing machine, and it greatly influences structure design and static and dynamic characteristics of supporting part.In this thesis, the research object is supporting part of zero-chain gear hobbing machine. In order to get high precision, the key design factors of supporting part have been analyzed and its overall design has been done. Based on mechanical dynamic design theory and multi-object optimum principle, optimum design and further studies on structure, static characteristic and vibration characteristic of supporting part have been made.The following is the main contents of the dissertation:â‘ Hobbing principle and zero-chain gear hobbing machine are introduced, and a summary is made on present statue and tends of zero-chain gear hobbing machine. Then, the main contents of the dissertation and its significance are presented.â‘¡The necessity to do dynamic optimum design for supporting part of zero-chain gear hobbing machine has been discussed. Then, based on mechanical dynamic design theory and multi-object optimum principle, main contents of optimum design has been presented.â‘¢The overall design principle of supporting part in zero-chain gear hobbing machine has been described, and its design technologies, such as layout design technology, kinematics parameter design technology and kinetics parameter design technology have been studied further.â‘£The key design of column-box in zero-chain gear hobbing machine has been studied.
