In order to keep up economic development and to meet the market's needs for mass of roll steel ,producing large-specification roll of steel plates with higher quality, the hot-rolling mill carry out three period of the technical improvement, replacing the six high pressure water pump which can't meet the need of providing high speed water for rolling with three high pressure centrifugal pump.Since their running , they emergence problems that electromotor severely heat and pump frequently attaint.Though hot-rolling mill put up a great deal of work in fixing equipment , adjusting precision, daily examining and repairing, controlling process etc, gaining some effect and ensuring the equipment's steadily running, but the equipments go beyond burden when they run, and they cost excessive electricity. When descaling in the production, It isn't in stabilization once in a while. As a result, it affects the safety producing severely. How to take particular measures to reduce the energy costing and ensure surface quality of the rolling product has become chief task. The paper is aimed at solving this problem by developing on-line monitoring system of high pressure water to descaling, studying technology on saving energy by using high pressure water to descaling , setting up balance equation of system's energy, analyzing the factors which affect descaling effect, and putting forward particular measures on saving energy in high pressure water system , obtaining satisfying effect .The paper consists of following parts:1) Analyze the pump's working character, study methods of saving energy on pump, confirm energy transferring tache of the system and establish balance equation of system's energy .confirm the available taches based on equation , establish project of saving energy on high pressure water descaling system by analyzing water using in roll steel line.2) Develop a suit of system with power measuring and pressure monitoring , which can online real time dynamic monitor power, flux, pressure, liquid's height and the set's vibration of the system, providing real time information for the manipulator, providing safeguard for safety production and providing credibility data for energy saving analysis.3) Utilize the theory of hydrodynamics and shoot flow to study the relationship between nozzle's amount, nozzle's figure, water's pressure, flux, nozzle's height,...
