As a new technology in today's design and manufacture fields, the Virtual Prototype Technology brings new energy to the traditional design and manufacture .This paper has attempted to use this technology in the dynamic analysis of complicated shearer's haulage system.The shearer is a complex mechanical system, It consist of haulage unit, cutting unit and related appendage. and the everything loads characteristic is very complicated, so it brings many difficulties to research dynamic property with traditional computational method. Applying ADAMS and UG software to analyse the dynamics property of shearer.Applying UG software to build the geometrical model of system's mechanical structure. We import the geometrical model of mechanical structure into ADAMS to build a Virtual Prototype model of shearer. At the first part, in order to make the simulation more approximate to the real condition, through the analysis on the load of the haulage unit of the shearer and the load of the cutting unit of the shearer, we get the load property of shearer's cutting unit and draw the conclusion that the load can be equivalent to a random function which accords with a normal distribution.Applying ADAMS to finish the modal analysis of shearer, contents...
