Study On The Water Cut Equipment Of Bailing Wells

As the oil production decreases and bailing wells increase year-on-year in the peripheral oilfield in Daqing, the original old method, in which oil tank extract the samples and then test analysis in the laboratory, has become instable because of the effect of the artificial samples and sample intervals. So the result can not stand for the water cut of the whole well. At present, there is still not a feasible method to obtain the accurate measurement of the bailing well production.Among all the measuring methods, both radial method and ultrasonic method can measure single point, which can measure the partial information in the channel. These two methods can not measure accurately in the complex situation in the channel. Density method has singnificant error when there is free gas. Capicitance method can measure the average information of all the fluids in the channel to reduce the error and has not specific requirement of the channel. This method has little error when there is some gas and has simple structure to install. So it is a good method. Due to the different measurement between the channel and oil tank, channel measuring method can not fulfill the practical measuring requirement of the oil tank because it requires the flux and pressure of the measuring fluild.Shortwave absorbing method is an advanced detecting method to detect water cut of the crude oil. According to the principle, the result does not affected by the media viscosity, density, temperature and pressure. The emitter is not sensible to the hydrocarbon and can work steadily for a long peroid of time. This method can measure the value from 0 to 100%. The precision fulfills the requirement and has advantages compare to the traditional methods. So this method is a good method to measure the static water cut of the crude oil. The shortwave absorbing method radiates the electrical power to the oil and water media by way of electromagnetic wave.Development and researchment of the static measuring oil tank water cut of the crude oil system can solve the oil measuring problem of the bailing well successfully, which has significant practical meaning for the production and measurement of the bailing well and make it economical. The study of this method conduces to solve this kind of problem for the first time.
