| Spontaneous combustion of coal is one of the main damages of mine. The safety production has been seriously threatened for a long time and economic benefits affected. Therefore, based on the specific conditions of the Jinqiao mine, the regularity of the spontaneous combustion of seam of Jinqiao mine and comprehensive prevention measures are researched on in this paper firstly. Some important conclusions are obtained.To take reasonable comprehensive fire prevention measure is the main research object of this paper. For this purpose, the ventilation system of Jinqiao mine is tested and analyzed in this paper firstly to obtain and master the air leak condition in the mine. Through trial, the method for predicting and forecasting the spontaneous combustion of coal is established by means of analysis of gas composition. The index for predicting and forecasting the spontaneous combustion of coal is determined and the variation regularity of the density of gas in gob versus the temperature is obtained, the gob is divided into three zones. The three-phase froth and negative catalyzer are analyzed by trial, and the negative catalyzer which is suit for Jinqiao mine and the optimum density of negative catalyzer are determined. Finally, based on the feature of mining and spontaneous combustion of isolated island working face, the specific conditions of 1391 working face, the measures which can be taken to prevent spontaneous combustion in the process of mining of isolated island working face.The comprehensive measure for preventing and extinguishing fire is obtained based on the analysis above, and it is suitable for Jinqiao mine: the demand of fire prevention should be embodied and fulfilled from the method of mining, ventilation, to roof management etc. some special measures should be taken, for example, grouting, spraying negative catalyzer, injecting inactive gas, etc. to form comprehensive fire prevention measure.
