As is known to us all, internal caused fire disaster is the main form of fire disaster in coal mines, which accounts for about 90 percent of the whole amount of disasters, among which coal spontaneous combustion commit a most important role, for it often evoke the explosion of the gas and coal dust in the mines as well as the damage of coal resources and equipments, besides, it also produce a large amount of smoke with high temperature and harmful gas, which seriously threatened the life safety of miners as well as the mines. Although the spontaneous combustion exists commonly in most kind of coal, its difficulty is determined by the physical and chemical characteristics of the coal, so it not only requires the spontaneous combustion property, nut also the early identification of the internal caused fire, from the knowledge of various parameters related with the fire disaster obtained from the spontaneous combustion process.Based on the analysis of the study and research situation of the coal spontaneous combustion, this thesis is instructed by the related theory of coal spontaneous combustion and the field tests. In the thesis, the comprehensive management measures towards the spontaneous combustion of the mechanic coal face is stated, from the test in one coal mine in Shanxi province, favorable result is obtained. The main research contents of this thesis are as follows:1. This thesis take the representative 8th coal seam and 9th coal seam for example, in the main contents, the gas product of the coal samples made for the purpose of testing is analyzed under the simulation test, from the analysis, we had reach a conclusion that olefins and alkane such as C2H4 and C3H6 should be introduced into the optimization of the symbolic gas together with the use of CO rather than only use CO and its derived parameters in the past.2. From the analysis of the results of the experiments, we can conclude that the consistency of C2H4 and C3H6 increase with the rising of the temperature, and it drops after getting to the highest point. While the consistency of the alkane (C2H6, C3H8and C4H10) undergo an increasing trend with the rising of the temperature in the whole testing process.3. Through the analysis between the coal temperature and the gas produced in different stage in the coal spontaneous combustion process as well as the practical situation of the coal mine, the symbolic gas of the coal spontaneous combustion is optimized, besides, the situation of the combusting point as well as the developing trend are induced according to the changing regularity of the symbolic gas.4. According to the results of inducement as well as the distribution of the mining production, the ventilation type and the top coal caving mining method, the moveable Nitrogen injection fire prevention system, the moveable back filling injection device as well as the resistance change fire-fighting equipment are established in the 8th and 9th work faces, which formulates a fire preventing system constructed mainly by resistance change fire-fighting method. By doing this, the coal spontaneous combustion problem can be solved basically.
