With the development of NC machine tool, the requirements on it emphasize the good machining performance besides light weight, low cost, convenience and good manufacturability, of which the spindle components is the main resources for cutting vibration. In order increase the whole dynamic performance of CK7815 NC lathe, taking the spindle components affecting the precision and dynamic characteristics of machine tool as the studying object, the dynamic analysis with finite elements is conducted, which can find out weak loop and provide the information for improving the faulty module. The studied contents are as following:1.The results of executing status experiment are analyzed. In order to recognize the vibrating sources caused from no-cutting factors such as vibration of machine tool, imbalance of dynamics of rotational components, and reinforced vibration and inherent vibration form environmental reasons, the idle running and cutting tests are carried out in which the idle running test checks the vibration without relation to cutting process. The cutting test is achieved to verify that the vibration resistance meets the design index and determine the vibrating frequency to detect the major weak loop of spindle components and supply the clues for improvements.2.The real-entity modeling of spindle components is established with CatiaV15.3.The finite element analysis of real-entity model for dynamic characteristics with software ANSYS8.1 fulfilled, whose results are compared with the experimental data.4.Optimizing design and improvements of spindle components are realized base on finite analysis and experimental study. The static and dynamic characteristics are enhanced by using reasonable parameters of spindle components based on analyzing span, front quality and radial size that have an impact on static and dynamic characteristics of the spindle components.
