High-speed machining tools technology is one of the key technologies which impact high-speed machining. The design and manufacture of high-speed cutting tools is exigent and difficult, the design and manufacture ability of domestic high-speed tools is feeblish. Domestic manufacture industries spend more and more money on importation of high-speed tool year after year, it is expensive. The design and manufacture system of solid carbide end mill is necessary, it is brought forward in order to depress tool cost and improve restricted production situation. It is an important assistant tool for the produce of homemade NC tool finally, it also supply a domestic gap in the design and manufacture area of high-speed machining aluminous alloy tools.The basic study of end mill design is the building of general mathematical model. Firstly, this text discussed general mathematical model of helix and helicoid of complex helical tools, it also studies edge structure of complex NC tool with various rotational profile. It also deduces general mathematical equation of helicoid for this helix based on matrix theory.Aiming at solute of characteristic curve for helical flute and grinding wheel in direct problem, and apply it in calculating of section line of tool noumenon in the parametric modeling module, then establish the calculate method of the helical groove parameter. Based on the same mathematical model and reference manufacture technics of milling cutter, elicit computing process of grinding wheel pose in NC grinding machining process of milling cutter, it is applied in the computer aided parametric computing module and end mill manufacturing simulation module aimed at manufacturing parameter of various grinding machining tools.Reference the mathematical model for milling cutter and general mathematical model for parameter computing of milling cutter grinding machining hereinbefore, design and manufacture integration system of solid carbide end mill is exploited, design idea and system structure of this system is studied. The system includes helical flute parameter computing module of milling cutter, 3D parametric modeling module of milling cutter> grinding motion parameter computing module of milling cutter and grinding motion simulation and analysis module of milling cutter, the whole program constructing which can achieve data integration in various modules is set up. It proved that the general mathematical model bring in this text is correct. Finally the veracity and reliability of the system is proved by software testing.
