As a widely applied purifying equipment in engineering, Cyclone Separator plays a very important part in many fields such as petroleum, chemical engineering, metallurgy and environmental protection etc. With the fast development of industry and environmental protection, higher requirements are is needed to its further innovation, design and installation, For example, how to confirm effects of interior structures Deformation on characteristic of cyclone separator which is working is a new project. This thesis is about different forms of Deformation in the interior structure of a working cyclone separator.The main works and the obtained conclusions are followed:1. With the help of FLUENT software, on the basis of RSM, flow field in Cyclone Separator was studied. With the repeated Numerical simulation, effects of mesh density on results are studied and the reasonable mesh is confirmed. Compared with the experimental results, model used in this thesis is testified for simulating flow field and separation efficiency of cyclone separator.2. The simulation of the incline of gas exit tube was done. The following simulation have been done: Four different incline orientation of Gas exit tube, the respective effect of three different incline angles was simulated to research characteristic of cyclone separator and changes of flow field.(1) With the same incline orientation, the entire tendency of separation efficiency declined with the increase of incline angle. While the gas exit tube incline in β<0°, the separation efficiency is rebound with the increase of incline angle, but this is still under the normal condition. The separation efficiency still decline with the continuous increase of incline angle.(2) Under the same incline angle, different incline orientation exert different effects on separation efficiency; when the incline direction is a>0°, the degree of decline of separation efficiency is the lowest, but when a<0°, the decline of separation efficiency is the greatest;(3) Gas is blocked by inclined gas exit tube. It causes the decline of tangential velocity of gas under gas exit tube and this is the main reason for the decline of separator efficiency.(4) With the same incline orientation and angle, the smaller the diameter of powder, the lower of separation efficiency;3. The simulation of gas leak from the bottom of Cyclone Separator was done. The following simulation have been done: four different amount of gas leak was simulated to research properties of Cyclone Separator and changes of flow field.
