In this paper, Petrographical coal blending and predicing coke quality were done using 15 kinds of normal coal, by 40Kg coke oven and using microphotometer and polarized light microscope to check the quality of the coke, on the basis of investigation of quality, stability and price of about 30 kinds of coking coal recently used by ANGANG GROUP.In the experiment, the normal quality analysis of coal, measurement of maceral microcomposition and Vitrinite reflectance, measurement of coke quality which is produced by single coal, research on the relativity between 40Kg coke oven and industrial coke oven were done. According to the integrated performance of coking coals, 20 coal blending schemes in 2 blocks were established, and the coking experiment in 40Kg coke oven was done. Mathematics models used for predicting the quality of the coke is established, under the condition of M40,M10, CRI and CSR of coke produced above as correlative variable, coal lithology parameters as independent variable, by the way of multi gradual regression analysis. Then the best coal blending scheme has been obtained, and prediction software was obtained by VB language. The results of the experiments showed that the average error of the prediction of the M40 and M10 is below 0.5%. That prediction error of 3 groups of production data in industrial experiments is in hand showed that this method may be used in industry.
