In this article, analyzes the proximate analysis, caking property, characteristics of coal and rock and analysis of coking quality of coking coal.the relationship between conventional indicators of coking coal has been analyzed along with the relation between the stomatal parameters, optical organization and the quality of coke.Further, the relation between the parameters of coal and rock with respect to the caking index has been analyzed as well as the relationship between parameters of coal and coke.Simultaneously, the effect of coke pore parameters and the optical composition of coke was comprehensively analyzed. The classification of strong caking ratio of coal petrography, according to different coal blending schemes, has been proposed and the coal-rock strength was evaluated. The effect of viscosity on the quality of coke has also been observed. It was found that the relation between dry ash-free volatility(Vdaf)of the coal and the average maximum reflectance(Rmax)of the single vitrinite group was linearly negative in nature. With the gradual increase of single metamorphic degree, the stomata ratio of coke formed by a coking coal first decreased and then increased. The average pore diameter showed a decreasing trend, and the average stomatal thickness showed a change that increased first and then decreased. The average stomatal wall thickness of the fat coal and coking coal in the single medium coal was found to be the thickest accompanied by lowest porosity. In this paper, the coking coal vitrinite reflectance distribution is divided into six different intervals of 0.6-0.8%,0.7-0.9%,0.8-1.2%,1.1-1.5%,1.3-1.7%,and1.7-1.5%.On the basis of these six intervals, the quantitative relationship between coal parameters and coke optics was analyzed and determined. The content of medium grain inlays and coarse grains in coke optics has a significant effect on the cold strength and thermal properties of the coke. The higher the content of the medium grain inlay and coarse grains, the higher the cold strength and thermal properties of the coke.Taking into account both the stomatal parameters of coke and the optical organization,a coke quality prediction model was established using the principle of multiple regression. The ratio of the reflectance distribution of the blended coal vitrinite in the range of 0.9-1.4%is called the strong-caking ratio. When the strong-caking ratio is about53%,the coke crushing strength was found to be M40 with a wear resistance of M10.With the increase of the strong-caking ratio, the reactivity CRI and the post-reaction strength CSR of formed coke tend to decrease and increase, respectively. When the strong-caking ratio is greater than 53%,the reactivity CRI of coke becomes smaller and the intensity CSR changes resulting in a reversal of trend.
