Present Situation Analysis And Control Countermeasures Of Water Pollution In Rudong Rural Area

Along with the fast economic development of countryside in ourcountry and the rapid development of urbanization, the massive rural industry wastewater, the sanitary sewage and the country depleting water were directly or indirectlydischarged into the surrounding water, which becomes the primary cause of rural waterpollution. The rapidly developing urban-rural private enterprises patterns broughtsevere challenges to the quality of rural water environment, we should envisage theinseparable relations between the economy and environment.This article taked Rudong area with developed rural industry as an example, andstarted from the analysis of the present situation, the developing trend and the sourceof the rural water pollution. Based on the five-year water quality monitoring data from2001 to 2005 of the five rivers, which had remarked influence on the most of thepopulation and the mean pollution index assessment method. The article analyzed thepresent situation and the changing trend of the water quality and made clear the mainpolluting factors and patterns in Rudong County. According to the sources of thepollution, the paper put forward the internal and external countermeasures to controlthe rural water pollution in Rudong County. The controls of the industry pollution areto enforce industry park construction, and the project of "the industry-enter-the area",control total capacity of the pollutants, open the public environmental performanceindustrial firms, restrict the new source of pollution, boost cleaner production, guidethe enterprises to carry on the IS014000, and strength monitoring system. Theapplication of pollutant emissions trading based on principle of the market regulationto water pollution controls were proposed to achieve the sustainable developmentbetween economy and environment along with the protection of the rural water quality.
