The wastewater containing phenol is prevalent industrial water, which seriously endangers humanity healthy. So the treatment of phenol-contained wastewater is attached importance and has made big progress. Nowadays the three main technologies are physical method, chemical method and biological chemical method. Immobilized microorganism process and electrocatalysis process are all extensively used because of their advantages. The research studied the treatment of phenol-contained wastewater by single immobilized microorganism process and by single electrocatalysis process. On the basis of above research, a novel process, that is, the combined method was proposed. The influence factors and degradation principle are studied deeply.Firstly, the mixed functional bacteria were cultivated and domesticated by phenol of high concentration. In order to analyze the mixed microorganism bacteria after cultivation deeply, the SEM analyses in different zoom out scale have been carried out. Meanwhile the SEM analysis of phenol-domesticated microorganism was done, which are in the log phase, the stationary phase and the decline phase. Compare the mechanical intensity and stability, and also contrast the phenol degradation effect of each immobilized microorganism. The optimistic microorganism ball was chosen as the research object later. Research the influence of the different factor for example phenol original concentration, pH, temperature, etc. Principle of phenol biodegradation was analyzed through kinetics reach. Experiment results were agreed fairly well with the Monod model.Single electrocatalysis method was used to investigate the phenol degradation disciplinarian, introducing the PbO2 anode based on Ti metal and made by pulse technology. The effect of load voltage, pH and phenol original concentration was reseached and so on. According to the degradation of different original concentration, phenol degradation mechanism and kinetics model was studied.The combined method of immobilized microorganism method and our group created electrocatalysis method innovatively.
