Study Of Polyester Chain Developing Issue In China

Most industries in the industry chain need inputs provided by others as the essentials of their outputs, simultaneously, they contribute outputs to other industries to consume. The fact of complicated correlated effect being among industries will be determined by the relation between input and output among industries. Each industry develops in such complicated environment. One industry, together with its upstream industry providing with raw materials and downstream industry providing with finishing products constitutes the industry chain. Polyester industry along with its upstream petrochemical industry and downstream chemical fiber industry has become the backbone industry in the economic development of China. After China's entering WTO, the effect of the economy globalization was enlarged, making Polyester industry in China confront the opportunities and challenges at the same time. In recently years, the downstream industry in Polyester chain developed quickly while the upstream one was curbed by the imbalanced raw materials.The author attempted to draw a deep analysis about the total Polyester chain in China on basis of rich first-hand data and references aiming at finding out the series problems met amid the development of Polyester chain in China, bringing about the solutions to the problems, drawing the analysis of the meaning of the integration of Polyester industry chain to the profitability, the capability of anti-risk and the lift-up of industry competition. In the last part of this work, a few constructive recommendations will be brought up. This thesis is dedicated to helping government, related enterprises and researchers in understanding of Polyester chain in China and its status as well as the trend.
