Now the technique of network that has became mainstream of modem information technique step by step was very noticeable at manufacturing. One trend of modern NC machine tools is interconnected to network, which provides most massive base for remote monitoring and network manufacturing. NC machine tools provided the information of currently machining state for remote monitoring spot and received the command of remote monitoring via high-speed communication network, as well as, provided remote diagnosis and maintenance. Ulteriorly, if NC machine tools were interconnected to network that would make a new framework of net, realize integration of bottom equipment of NC machining and system of CAD/CAE/CAM and MIS/ERP of enterprise, and build CIMS which is based on remote design and manufacture along with information production.NC system has internal network function and realized the function of remote monitoring in some advanced NC machine tools now. But,In China, most popular NC system at present have no network function or can realize some simple functions only yet, for instance transmission and save of the network file. And mostly based on DOS platform, the interface wasn't intuitional enough and operation wasn't easy. The paper was written on purpose of solving the problems mentioned above. Embedded Internet technology was used to network remote monitor of NC system. The technique to monitor NC machine tools remotely via Internet which based on cheap communicate controller. This system used C/S mode to establish the network remote monitor platform, and adopted Windows Socket programming technology based on MFC, Multi-Thread programming technology to develop the systematic network monitoring software based on windows platform. The parameters of NC equipments were controlled and adjusted via remote monitoring computer. At the same time, the communicated function between the NC machines and remote monitoring computer were accomplished, such as upload or download a NC program, delivering pictures, rea-time machining online and so on. The hardware of communicate controller was realized by embedded Internet technique, and composed of ATMEGA128L MCU and RTL8019AS.Through simulatingdebug, this network monitoring system has already been succeeded in realizing:(1) network communication function, data exchange function between server and client of the NC system; (2) the control to systematic processing course in real-time and the control to the system operation interface of NC.The technique in the thesis adapted to common NC machine tools, which were largely used in production. It has the characteristics of general and cheap. It also has the advantages that NC machine tools connected to Internet directly, had became the unattached nod of network; communicated expediently with the remote monitoring computer and integrated expediently with other network of enterprises. In addition, the embedded Internet control system not only be applicable to remote morning of NC machine tool, but also be applicable to the medical science, electric power system etc..
