In this paper, Fe-MCM-41 was prepared and its preparing conditions was optimized. Besides, Fe-MCM-41 was modified by transition metals like Cu, Mn, and M-Fe-MCM-41(M=Cu, Ni and Mn) was obtained. The samples were characterized by X-Ray diffraction, IR spectra, TG-DTA. The catalytic activities of the samples in the Catalytic Wet Peroxide Oxidation of phenol were investigated and the reaction conditions were optimized. The product of CWPO process was analyzed by HPLC.The results showed that Fe-MCM-41 and M-Fe-MCM-41 (M=Cu, Ni and Mn) which were prepared by hydrothermal synthesis all had a structure of ordered hexagonal. Cu-Fe-MCM-41 had the better catalytic activities in the Catalytic Wet Peroxide Oxidation (CWPO) of phenol compared to Fe-MCM-41, Ni-Fe-MCM-41 and Mn-Fe-MCM-41. Besides, Cu-Fe-MCM-41 can be used in a relatively wide pH range and had high stability. Moreover it can be reused. The best reaction conditions for CWPO of phenol using Cu-Fe-MCM-41 as catalyst were: Molar ratio of hydrogen peroxide/phenol was 14; Reaction temperature: 70℃; Reaction time:lh; Mass content of Cu-Fe-MCM-41 :1g/L. Under this condition, phenol could be removed almost 100% of initial value.
