Mould industry is a industry accumulated by experiences and technologies. The tranditional processes of mould design and manufacture are extensively depended on the participator's knowledge. In order to avoid the knowledge asset vanishing away, which occured by factors such as personnel fluxion, mould enterprises launch out into the advantage management ideologies and technologies of Knowledge Management, and phase in collecting and neatening mould knowledge systematically to develop their Mould Knowledge Management System(MKMS).Mould knowledge gets involved in comprehensive fields, and has strong and complicated relationship with each other. None but digest to get hold of the relationship and interaction of each mould knowledge, can someone really understand and grasp these knowledge. Nevertheless, current MKMSs just support the simple character-match search function, that cause users can not get other valuable referenced knowledge when they obtain the target knowledge. Therefore, to improve knowledge search method from the character-match to the sematic level in MKMS, in terms of the characteristic of mould knowledge, is an important approach to solve this problem. On the basis of this thought, this paper puts forward a semantic search method, which is based on the degree of mould ontology concept relationship.This paper analyses potential key problems first, which would be faced when to realize the semantic search in MKMS, and hereby form the skeleton of this paper:1. According to Ontology Web Language(OWL), this paper designs the OWL_SQL ontology storage pattern which can store mould ontology in the relation database management system(RDBMS), so as to solve the ontology storage problem in MKMS.2. Combining with the characteristic of the structure pattern of MKMS's knowledge base(KB), this paper utilizes the OWLSQL ontology storage pattern to design the corresponding data structure for the combination of ontology and KB, and thereby lay the foundation of semantic search.3. With an in-depth study of current leading semantic search and their calculational methods of relationship, this paper reconstructs the classical method, in terms of the characteristic of mould knowledge's relationship, to put forward a calculational method of the degree of mould ontology concept relationship.4. On the basis of above-mentioned calculational method, this paper presents a relavant knowledge semantic search arithmetic for MKMS, namely MKMSREL arithmetic.5. In the end, this paper designs and develops a degree of concept relationship semantic search function in certain DongGuan mould enterprise's MKMS by the research achievement, and enhance the usage value of the MKMS effectively.
