Studies On Chinese Aloe Quality Evaluation And Polysaccharide Functionality Food Development

In this paper, the identification and quantitative analysis of Aloe vera L.var.Chinensis(Haw.) Berger, extract of Aloe polysaccharides(APS), processingtechnology, quality standard, main pharmacodynamic research and toxicologicalexperiments of Aloe polysaccharides tablet were investigated.To identify the quality of Aloe vera L.var. Chinensis (Haw.) Berger, the experimentalresults showed that dry extract existences from cortex and liquid existences from mesophyllin fresh leaf of aloe. pH value of Aloe vera L.var.Chinensis(Haw.) Berger from Hainan ishigher than from Jiangsu.There is an excellent extractive performance and a good stable byselecting absolute alcohol as solvent,instead of acetone or the liquid mixed with etheracetone. According to China National Light Industry Standards for Edible AloeProducts,the contents of K, Mg, Ca, Zn,Fe are higher than aloe products with the whole leaf,On the contrary, Cd,Pb,Hg,As are lower.Using TLC method to identify aloin,there areidentical spots with similar Rf value,the contents of aloin are the highest in Aloe veraL. var. Chinensis(Haw.) Berger from Nanning.We finished the extract and preparation research of APS, through ethanol precipitationafter the acid regulation, and centrifugal, using sephadex G-100 gel column to purify whiteor pallide-flavens APS; The content of APS of the Yuanjiang of Yunnan and the Haikou ofHainan was almost the same, about 9%-10%. Analyzed by IR spectroscopy, preliminaryconsider APS is mannan. Finished the processing technology of APS tablet, lay down apreliminary quality standard of this preparation, using molish reaction and TLC method toidentify glycose of APS.The results of pharmacological research show that it has serious effects on specificimmunity and nonspecific immunity; APS can raise lymphocyte cell proliferation of normalmouse, can stimulate IL-1 production of cavum abdomens macrophage, and stimulate IL-2production of Splenocytes. We cannot detect LD₅₀ of two kinds of APS, MTD experimentshow it has no significant damage reaction, there is no dead between 7 days.
