Aiming at the difficulty of on the low side of flotation recovery rate of collophanite, tacky forth and illogical process flow, reagents compounding, new reagent tests, process condition and process flow were studied by the thesis, and the function mechanism among the minerals and floatation drugs had been studied with the way of IR and academic calculation of solution chemistry.Flotation test results of high siliccous and low grade collophanite indicated that sodium oleate and kerosene were matched by 2:1 in quality was the best collector and the effect of compound collector was better than sodium oleate and oleic acid.The paper tested the effects of grinding fineness and pH values on the flotation target. The results showed that when solution pH is about 9.5, there was the best flotation result of collophanite and the optimum grinding size in the low grade collophanite was 90.03%-0.074mm.Flotation test results of high siliccous and low grade collophanite indicated that the best logical direct flotation flow was one roughing and two cleanings, comparing routine modifying agents sodium carbonate and sodium silicate to new modifying agents SJ-01 and FS, a good flotation target for open circuit that contents of P2O5 was from 29.96% in the cleaning ore to 31.17%, productivity of P2O5 was from 43.38% to 52.49% and recovery of P2O5 was from 64.50% to 81.20%.It was showed that the closed-circuit flowsheet of industrial yield was one roughing, two scavengings and six cleanings, obtainning a good flotation target that contents of P2O5 was 35.98%, productivity of P2O5 was 42.83% and recovery of P2O5 was 76.48% in the finished product. Comparing routine reagents to new reagents, contents, productivity and recovery of P2O5 were separately increased by 2.38%, 5.16% and 13.67%.For testing the adaptability of new reagents, it was applied on scrubbed tailings near Kunming, Yunnan and high siliceous and low grade collophanite near Daxin, Guangxi. The results showed that new reagents had a universality and a better target than conventional reagents on the phosphorite ore.The function mechanism among the minerals and floatation drugs had been studied with the way of IR and academic calculation of solution chemistry, which pointed out that the compound collector lies in the form of Ol and (Ol)22- in the ore magma of pH=9.5. Ol- and Ca2+ were reacted and generated Ca(Ol)2, which was adhered on the surface of collophanite that was discharged water. Infrared spectrum showed that adsorption of the compound collector on the surface of collophanite belonged to physical and chemical types, but the chemical one was in the highest flight. The flotation of collophanite wasn't effected by rival reaction on ionized OH- from modifying agent SJ-01 and O1- from sodium oleate. A activated action was considered by the action of SJ-01 on collophanite. Because Ca(OH)2 had a bigger solubility product(5.5×10-6), the cause of the activated action in the enough reason is that the dissolvability of calcium oleate was far lower than calcium hydroxide. The depressant Na2SiO3 lies in the form of HSiO3- and H2SiO3 in the ore magma ofpH=9.5. HSiO3- and H2SiO3 were adhered on the surface of SiO2 in the highest priority, so SiO2 was restrained strongly. To the depressant FS, SiF62- had a leading predominance in the ore magma of pH=9.5, which was reacted by Na2SiO3 and generated H2SiO3 colloid granule, so restraint effect on SiO2 was reinforced.
