In this paper, we synthesized nine organic-inorganic hybrid compounds through covalent or supramolecular interaction using chelating nitrogen containing ligand as building unit. Furthermore, with Ni (Ⅱ), Zn (Ⅱ) and rare earth metal ion Ce (Ⅲ), we synthesized three inorganic-organic hybrid complexes based on nitrogen containing chelating ligand and aromatic carboxylate ligand. All these compounds have been characterized by elemental analyses, IR, TG, UV and X-ray single crystal diffractions. The factors influencing the structures of these compounds have also been studied.1.Nine new organic-inorganic hybrid compounds have been prepared by using Keggin clusters as building blocks and introducing complex fragments {MxLy} (M = transition metal ions, L = chelating ligands):(1) H3O[Co(phen)3] 2[PMoⅥ10 MoⅤ2O40 ](2) H3O[Zn(phen)3] 2[PMoⅥ10 MoⅤ2O40 ](3) [Cu(phen)3] 2[PMoⅥ11 MoⅤO40 ] H2O(4) [Cd(phen)3] 2[PMoⅥ11 MoⅤO40 ](5) [Cd(phen)3] 2[PWⅥ12 O40 ](6) [Cd(2,2'-bpy)3] 2[PMoⅥ12 O40 ](7) { [Zn(phen)2] 2[SiMoⅤMo11 ⅥO40 ] }(8) { [Zn(phen)2] 2[PMoⅤMo11 ⅥO40 ] }(9) {[PMoⅥ12 O40 ] [Ag(4,4'-bipy)3] (4,4'-bipy) } H2O (phen =1,10-phenanthroline, 2,2 '-bpy = 2,2 '-bipyridine, 4,4 '-bipy = 4,4 '-bipyridine)From these compounds, we can conclude: The structures of these compounds are different when chelating ligands with different steric possession, such as phen and 2, 2'-bpy, are used. Using phen, compounds 1-5, 7, 8 are prepared: compound 1-6 is a discrete Keggin cluster, MxLy act as free ion; in complexes 7 and 8 MxLy units connects with Keggin cluster with oxygen atom, and they are isostructure; For complex 9,which built from d10 metal ions and 4,4'-bpy ligand, it has interesting fluency property, while the structural differences among other compounds are ascribed to the characteristic of metal ions.2.Three novel organic-inorganic hybrid compounds have been synthesized using 3d metal ions, Zn (Ⅱ), Ni (Ⅱ), and rare earth metal ions Ce (Ⅲ). With nitrogen containing chelating ligand and aromatic carboxylate ligand we got three interesting complexes.(10) [Ni(mal)2(1,10-phen)(H2O)]n(11) [Zn(fma)2(1,10-phen)(H2O)]n(12) [Ce2(bdc)2(Hbdc)2 (H2O)]n·nH2O (Mal = malic acid, fma = fumaric acid, bdc = isophthalic acid)... |
