This trend combining the contemporary western new social movement and the socialist thinking, with the purpose of protecting the environment for the survival of mankind, with the core values of ecological benefits, with the pursuit objectives of the natural harmonious relations between nature and human beings, put economic activities, political activities and other activities of human being into ecological socialism to ponder. With the current of promoting sustainable development, study on ecological socialism is not only an necessary for academic research of the evolution of socialist ideology, but also of great significance for a comprehensive and correct understanding of the development of the Marxist theory on socialism, and the promotion of sustainable development.Ecological socialism realistically brings reality theory of the ecological crisis and its solution and put theory into practice.
