Sustainable development is to measure the safety of human production and life in the carrying range of ecosystems,quantitative measurement of the status of development in the region is very important.The ecological footprint model has been introduced by domestic scholars and become one of the important means of quantitative research on regional sustainable development in China.The ecological footprint method quantifies the index by introducing the concept of ecological productive land,and uses the equilibrium factor and the yield factor to convert the resource products of different types of land into the land area for direct calculation and comparison.As the only sub-provincial mega-city in the six central provinces and the central city in the central region confirmed by the State Council,Wuhan is the core city of the Yangtze River economic belt and the strategic fulcrum of the rise of the central region.At the same time,throughout Wuhan City won the city honor,in 2000 was named China's excellent tourist city,in 2005 won the "National Garden City" honor,2010 as "National Forest City" and so on.The construction and development of Wuhan will inevitably affect the ecological environment in the region,make clear the carrying capacity of the current regional ecosystem,control the intensity of resource development and utilization,protect the regional ecological resources,and improve the regional ecological environment is particularly important for the sustainable development of Wuhan.The paper consists of 6 chapters.Chapter one mainly introduces the research background of this paper,the domestic and foreign research progress and present situation of ecological footprint and the research methods of this paper;chapter two introduces the index data source explanation of quantitative calculation and analysis while introducing the natural and economic situation of Wuhan city;chapter three mainly introduces the theory and calculation model of ecological footprint and ecological security;chapter four is the calculation result of the model and the related analysis according to the results;chapter five is to evaluate the sustainable development of Wuhan city on the basis of ecological footprint,mainly using ten thousand yuan GDP ecological footprint,ecological pressure and other indicators;Chapter 6 puts forwardsome suggestions on the sustainable development of Wuhan city according to the above data and analysis.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows :(1)the per capita ecological footprint of Wuhan has been increasing from 2009 to2017.In particular,the per capita share of the ecological footprint of Wuhan has increased significantly in terms of fossil energy,built-up land,grazing grassland,forest land and water area,except for the slight decrease in the per capita share of cultivated land from ha to ha.(2)Compared with the per capita ecological footprint,the per capita ecological carrying capacity of Wuhan has also been increasing in a decreasing trend,but its rise is relatively slow.This shows that the supply capacity of the ecological environment in Wuhan has been reduced,and the ecological environment situation is more severe.(3)The ecological pressure of Wuhan City is great,the consumption structure is not very reasonable,and according to the current development trend,the ecological pressure and consumption structure in the next few years have a more unreasonable direction.By modeling and analyzing the influencing factors of Wuhan's ecological footprint,it can be found that the main problems affecting Wuhan's ecological footprint are: the population of Wuhan is large and increasing year by year,and the consumption of ecological resources is increasing.(4)The efficiency of resource utilization in Wuhan is increasing year by year.GDP ecological footprint of 10,000 yuan gradually decreased,indicating that the unit output of Wuhan's land gradually increased,the ecological resources that the unit GDP needs to occupy gradually decreased,Wuhan's land use mode gradually turned to intensive and economical,Wuhan's land use efficiency increased year by year and improved significantly.(5)The consumption structure of Wuhan is not very reasonable.From 2009 to2017,the consumer organizations in Wuhan have been between unreasonable and extremely unreasonable.According to the trend of biodiversity index and development ability index,with the development of Wuhan's social economy,the consumption structure of Wuhan is moving towards a more unreasonable range.So,for all kinds of land use,Wuhan should adjust the land planning according to the actual situation,optimize the structure,and enhance the sustainability of the land in the region?...
