The seriousness of this problem has forced to look closely again the relation between man and nature, reflected on thoughts which instructed our conductions, seeking good way to resolve ecological environment problem in theory layer. In this article, it is major to study the cause of global ecological crisis, the path to go out of the crisis, the possibility and reality of coming to sustainable development.In this article, following the thinking principle of the merge of logic and history, clarification and profound analysis were given to the important several times ecological environment problems in Human history, have announced essence of ecological crisis especially. The essence of ecological crisis resulted from people′s greedy desire which embodied a concentrated expression of the crisis of instrument rationality. On the basis of a large number of texts, this article has investigated history of the rational gradual progress of tools,divided into the periods of pregnant and sprout, developing consciously-critic period, and expound the transmutation of relation of man and nature which perspective appeared in the course of gradual progress of instrument rationality, it is antagonistic to nature, people and society, people ones own relation that the focal point lies in revealing alienation of instrument rationality.
