Study On WEDM Technology Of Straight Generatrix Surface

In this paper, the design and study of the polar coordinates processing system for straight generatrix surface with WEDM are presented. It roundly analyzes the motion law of WEDM for straight generatrix surface, summarizes the diversified motion parameter and motion form of WEDM for straight generatrix surface, sets up the relevant motion equation and calculating the general mathematical modeling of the polar coordinates processing system. Then the content system of WEDM for straight generatrix surface is completed. And the technology of computer simulation, CAD, CAPP, CAM is studied.With studying on the kinematics of the polar coordinates processing system, this system is designed according to the theory and the practical processing is completed in this system. The processing turntable with primary table are used in this WEDM machine tool ,and could realize turning and moving, the relative motion between with the processing accessory and electrode, and straight generatrix surface lastly. The processing system could solve the problem, which in the processing of WEDM for straight generatrix surface, and this method gets a wild application in the mould manufacture.At the end of this paper, the later studies on the WEDM technology and the WEDM for straight generatrix surface technologies are suggested.
