Mobile Control And Mechanical Cutting Parameters Database Of CNC System Based On XML Web Services

This paper summarizes the current state of Open-Architecture NC System at home and abroad, analyzes advantage and disadvantage of current CNC System, advances a distributing CNC System based on Internet: WS-mCNC, and present system model. What we discuss is about the WS-mCNC System.The WS-mCNC System is based upon XML Web Services solution and Microsoft .NET developing platform. At first, we present traditional distributing technology, as DCOM, CORBA and so on. Then we compare them with XML Web Services technology, and elicit that XML Web Services is an ideal solution to current distributing CNC System. Based on this conclusion, (1) this paper discusses the Mobile Controller (MC for short) of WS-mCNC System; bring forth the system software architecture, and the main implementation of the Mobile Controller. We also compare mobile controlling upon Client/Server software architecture and XML Web Services software architecture. (2) This paper research some issue of mechanical machining and cutting parameter database. We also give the implementation of the database.
