| Recently, cancer-causing aromatic amine is concerned very much. Some dyes may be transferred from textile product to human skin, especially when the dyes' fastness is bad. Under the bacterial catalytic action, these dyes release the original aromatic amine, which can penetrates human skin to the body. After body metabolizable action, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) generates structural and functional change, which can become the induction factor of pathologic change. Therefore twenty-two kinds of cancer-causing aromatic amine have been forbidden to use, among which benzidine has the biggest effect to the dyestuff industry. In this dissertation, we studied this kind of substitute,including three points as follows:1. Ten dye intermediates containing sulfonamide as link group, seven of which were new compounds, have been designed and prepared. They were expected to replace benzidine to produce non-carcinogenic dyes; The optimum reaction conditions for some intermediates were got; They were characterized by E. A, IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and MS.2. Using prepared compounds 1, 2, 8 as intermediate, series of diazo direct dye compounds were synthesized, through azo reaction and couping reaction. The visible absorption spectra of them was investigated.3. These dyes compounds' dyeing properties on leather and textile were investigated. They were found to have good appetency on leather. |
