Efficiency Analysis And Evaluation For The Mould Design Process

Since the 1980s, the hard market competitions has greatly speeded the progress of the world and advanced the developing of new technologies. And then, a huge stress brought by the harsh external environment is taken to all enterprises. With the improving demands on the product due date, quality, and the cost, mould production, as the typical and complicated one of a kind manufacturing, is faced with the unprecedented challenges.Based on the concepts and methods of the process management, taking the mould design features into account, from the perspective of the design flows, this paper analyze the factors affecting the design efficiency, and make a conclusion that the design management can not keep up with the rapid developing of enterprises, and bring forward that the efficiency evaluation based on the fixed working hours to the mould design will provide a basis for quantitative analysis and promote the management efficiency.In this thesis, based on the above conclusions, the methods of making mould design fixed working hours and the methods of efficiency evaluation on the mould design engineers are studied. The main contents of the works are shown as follows:1. Aiming to the features of mould design process is difficult to observe, the flexible of design work time, and frequent changes to the mould design task, we initially developed a method of the classification of labor-hour consumption to the work of mould design, form the foundation for the formulation and implementation of the quota management.2. Against the features of the work of the mould design, we analyzed the impact of the factors of the mould design quota management, and developed a method of the mould design of the man-hours ration: the analogy and comparing method for the conventional mould design tasks, uncertainty algorithm for the mould repairing tasks. We preliminarily solved the difficult problem of quantifying the workload of the mould design, laid the foundation for the evaluating efficiency of work of the mould design engineer.3. Considering the features of mould design and the meaning of the mould design, we analyzed and selected the factors of evaluating efficiency of the work of the mould design engineers. And we established a mould design engineer's efficiency evaluation model. This model forms the foundation for the establishing quantitative performance indicators for the future enterprises, and as the basis for the enterprises analyzing and promote the mould design efficiency.Based on the mould structur and complexity component we developed a method for quota management for the mould design engineering firstly, and established a mould design engineer's efficiency evaluation model based on the labor-hour ration. The content of quota management had partly taking into the practically application at the Guangdong large mould manufacture enterprises. Associated with the PDM and ERP information system, the quota management had brought good results for controlling the work's plan and promoting the mould design efficiency.
