| Process knowledge is an important enterprise knowledge asset in mould repairing in die & mould manufacturing industries. However, owing to the diversity, uncertainness, etc, and other characteristics of the mould repair knowledge, the mould repair knowledge in enterprises is in need of effective generalization and arrangement, which makes it hard to be reused and shared.With the process of informatization construction, some die & mould enterprises have stored mould repair information in the database to reuse, share the information as mould repair knowledge. Although current databases can highly effective be implemented in recording, querying and data statistics, it can't be discoveried the inner rules and regulations among the process of die & mould, also can't realize to compile new process of die & mould assistantly in real sense. People find that the knowledge behind the increasing rapidly data is the very thing which people real want. This paper applies data mining theory to the database, focuses on the particular description of mould repair process, and acquires the basic methods of working procedure sequence. The primary work includes the following parts:1) In accordance with the development and requirement of a certain mould enterprise in Dongguan City, one mould repair process information management system is developed, and the software system is applied in enterprise successfully at present.2) By analyzing the characteristics of mould repair process information, one method is established by using clustering analysis on process data so as to acquire typical mould repair process sentences from mould repair process.3) Adopting the classical algorithm Apriori of association rules, one means is established to discovery operation series in mould repair process.4) On basis of mould repair process information management system, one mould repair process knowledge management system is conceived in the end.
