Channel-spinning is a kind of open-end spinning method, which is developed by Donghua University during the end 18th and the early 19th. It combines the merits of both rotor spinning and friction spinning, and works in real twist. The best feature of this spinning method is that it separates the tiber condensing process from the fiber twisting process. As the twister is only responsible for twisting, so it can be smaller and simpler, its rotational velocity and the spinning speed could be improved. The task of this thesis is to optimize the critical spare parts of the spinning prototype. At first, linear regression experiments on the prototype through debugging the structure and technology parameters were made, and then mathematical model of the spinning system were set up. From the mathematical model, the optimal structure and technology parameters were found. At last the feasibility of increasing the spinning speed and yarn quality were explored.Experimental methods and theretical analysis were used at the same time in the study. The influence of the combing roller on fiber combing effect and transmission state, the influence of the air flow pressure and its distribution in the condensing groove on transporting and straightening effect of the fiber, and the optimal structure parameters of the condensing groove were studied by experiments and theretical analysis. This thesis carries out the practical technology of cotton yarn spinning and wrap yarn spinning with the method that experiment and theories combine together.
