Urban geology geochemistry environment assessment information system (UGEIS) is a project application GIS, which is developed to base on the urban geoenvironmental research and quality assessment theory. And UGEIS can solve a series of problems in urban geoenvironmental risk evaluation.This thesis discussed the urban geoenvironmental risk evaluation theory system which is the basic theory of UGEIS. And analysed the feasibility and the necessary of the development of UGEIS. Subsequently, the demand analysis of UGEIS was carried on, which made the functions and run demands of UGEIS certain. Finally, adopted AOO means to ensure the work model of UGEIS was space manage system. This thesis chose develop strategy of UGEIS which is "from above to below", "from below to above", and based on Visual C++ and integrated MAPGIS to develop UGEIS. This paper adopted OLE ActiveX technique to solve automation drawing problem and adopted ODBC data-base technique to solve the data of EXCEL income and output problem, UGEIS is build successed basically.Now UGEIS can solve three levels evaluation problems:The first-level evaluation is used to evaluate the essential factors of urban geoenvironment. This level is the basic evaluated functions of UGEIS'. This level was consisted of the susceptibility evaluation of coasts, landslips, mud-rock flows and Karst collapses, the geochemical frangibility evaluation of ground water, and the pollution evaluation of surface water, sediment,soil and air.The second-level evaluation is used to classifiably evaluate. This level evaluation is the mesosphere of UGEIS'. This level evaluation involves the divisional risk evaluation indicators reflecting urban geoenvironmental background,geological hazard susceptibility,the social-economical vulnerability of the geological hazards,the geological hazard risk and geochemical frangibility.The third-level evaluation concerns the divisional risk evaluation indicators for urban geoenvironmental risk. This level evaluation is the tiptop level evaluation function in UGEIS. Using UGEIS evaluated the pollution of sediment in Panzhihua downtown area. Also using UGEIS evaluated the basis of the geological background evaluation, the geological risk evaluation and the risk evaluation of geoenvironment in Kangting. The uses proved UGEIS can solve the problems of urban geoenvironmental evaluation directly, speedily. And the uses also proved UGEIS is incorporate, automated, veracity and efficient,friendly,openly and easy to use and so on.
