The Application Of Gis Technology In The Environmental Assessment Of Agricultural Geology

This article introduces a sub-system of Zhejiang Province agriculture geologyenvironmental information system------establishing a subsystem of agriculturegeology appraises based on the Zhejiang Province agriculture geology environment investigation project. In recent years, the crops are serious harmed and the industrialization, the urbanization, the pollution of soil heavy metal and the residual pesticide and some others, which harm the humanity by entering the human body through the food chain, destroyed the agricultural product quality. Because Zhejiang Province is a frontier of open area, it becomes an urgent matter to develop the benefit agriculture, the characteristic agriculture and the green agriculture, to guarantee clean and the insecurity of agricultural product and to verify the agricultural geology environment quality condition. The agricultural geology environment appraisal system, which is based on the GIS, is instructed by the systems science theory. The structure and function of the system was designed through analyzing the aim and assignment of the system, the request of users and the data pool. This process is based on the synthesis utilization of computer science, agrogeology, GIS technology and the environment appraisal theory and so on. On this basis, the database, which contains words, figures and table is established. Furthermore, the agricultural geology environment appraisal system is developed by the methods of object-oriented and controls technology. The designs of the system cater to each type of the users and have the functions of editing, inquiry, analyzing and printing. The system provides beautiful, practical, friendly and intuitionistic Chinese graphics interface. We considered adequately the habits of unprofessional persons such as government administrators and the policy-makers. The system which contains entire menu processing and all kinds of quickly operates should be convenient to master and operate.
