The fluorid smoke generated during aluminum electrolysis can be agrate threat to the atmosphere. We monitor the fluorid pollution status andprovide a scientific pollution control suggestion for the pollution source.Now there are two ways for air fluorid monitoring, one is dynamic and theother is static. The static method can provide an average fluorid content inthe air during a period of time, it is easy to handle, but can not provide anaccurate fluorid content variation trend at a particular time. The dynamicmethod can provide an instantaneous fluorid content at any appointed time,but it cost much more than the previous one. For the purpose of simplifymonitoring and cut cost as well as improve efficiency, this article carriedout a deep study about the correlation between the dynamic method and thestatic method, and established a correlation model between these twomonitor methods, and the result met the goal.The dynamic monitor method and the static monitor method arecorrelated with each other theoretically, the theoretical basis is that thefluorid absorbed by filter paper in these two method are proportionallyrelated.The value of correlation coefficient K is related with the velocity of airwhen it blow pass the static monitor or the filter paper. The definitionformula is:The blow of air is closely related with weather condition and location, sothe complexity and the uncontrollability of air condition will greatly affect the result.The correlation model (or the correlation coefficient) can be workedout, the concrete steps are: choose one diffuse mode, estimate theconcentration of actual dynamic monitoring according to the mode, thencompare the estimation with the actual monitor result, and generate thecorrecting coefficient. Then, predict the future concentration using thechosen mode, and multiply the correcting coefficient to get a virtualdynamic monitor concentration. Finally, place the static monitorconcentration, the actual dynamic monitor concentration and the virtualdynamic monitor concentration into one correlation equation, and then getthe correlation coefficient or an specific correlation equation. In thisresearch, the correlation coefficients between the dynamic monitor methodand the static monitor method in many monitor spots are in the range of10~85.With the knowledge of diffuse mode and weather data, the dynamicconcentration of any period of time can be directly predicted using thecorrelation coefficients and the static monitor concentrationAlthough there is a certain error when using the correlation method topredict the dynamic concentration, this method opened a new way topredict dynamic concentration. If we compare many diffuse mode andchoose the best one, optimize the diffuse coefficient, complete the weatherdata, locate the position of monitor spots according to the source, we canget more precise prediction.
