The production of iron about Industry of Iron and Steel in China(IISC) was 350 million tons in 2005 ,which was ranked first in the world,but engery indexes were far over average level of the world.Some of deep causes did not consist in technology itself but in undeveloped management of IISC and the phenomenon ,common and serious ,to waste its resources.Now the optimum measures to be taken was to take advantage of Lean Product(LP).Took BAOGANG as a example,it first in our country introduced LP from Japan by paying 90,000 thousand yuan.By calculation,provided that LP model was built in IISC all over our country ,and direct benefits a year across China would be 17,250 million yuan,equaling financial revenues of JiangXi province in 2003(168,170 million yuan),by terms of BAOGANG level with its cost droping 500 yuan a ton iron. Technology may be introcduced immediately,but management cannot be copied. So the first task to build on LP in IISC today was to arouse them and thus advanced person with abilitity to quantified management were enrolled,China-characteristic LP(CLP) was designed by statistic and economical maths. In this paper, successful example was taken,LP model was designed extractively in the five aspects as cost,machine, quality, producation, manpower-resource mangement;management system, ISO9000, ISO14000, OHSMS18001, 5S, 6σ,QC,TQM and LP ,was combined and applied into NO.2 SINTER PLANT IN MAGANG iron and steel company successfully by co-operration.
