The progressive die is a kind of complex and precise forming die. It possesses many advantages such as high efficiency, accuracy and long life. So it is used for many kinds of automation production in sheet metal forming. With the development of technology, the progressive die is required more and more higher in forming quality. However traditional design seldom consider the deformation of sheet carrier during stamping, thereby,it lead to inaccuracy of designing and production, then, it make the accuracy of part fall down. Because the flow of metal in the flanging forming process were very complex, It is some difficulty to analysis the deforming issues for carrier of progressive die by traditional theory way. So, the study on the issue was relatively few both here and abroad.With the development of computer technology and FEM theory, FEM have been popularly used in the analysis of sheet metal forming. The method can be used accurately simulate forming of progressive die. Getting the guide meaning conclusion in the production. This text is on the foundation that checks the cultural heritage extensively, in the foundation of correlation issues for discussing numerical simulation of progressive die forming, combination numerical simulation technology and canonical example, study the Influence of sheet carrier on stamping process of progressive die. Specially, study the Influence of drawing and bending on stamping process of progressive die, and getting the some conclusion of guide value for designing progressive die.
