Fire is the disaster caused by burning without control in time and space. It not only deprives human's lives and estates, but also threatens human's security. Therefore, it is a great task for human to forestall fire and reduce the lost caused by fire. Fire detecting technology is an effective way to forestall fire. To counter the popular problems that traditional fire detecting alarm determines whether it is a fire based on single parameter and that it alarms less or wrongly, I study the intelligent fire alarm system based on fuzzy neural network, and get primary improvement. The main conclusions in my study are as follows:Firstly, owing to the traditional technology can not satisfy the demand of fire detecting alarm in reality. I propose an algorithm of fire detection using data fusion technology based on artificial intelligence, utilizing environmental temperature, the density of smoke and CO content as input to synthesize sensor signals with the use of neural network and fuzzy logical technology.Secondly, fuzzy logic has the characteristics of strong comprehensive determination ability and identification ability. Making use of these two characteristics, I use fuzzy control into fire alarm system. The design of fuzzy controller in the fire detecting system is fulfilled with the use of MATLAB, and I also perform experiments which model after real circumstances.Thirdly, by using self-study and self-adaptation of neural network, I established neural network fire detector model and edited algorithm design of neural network in fire detecting system with RBF and Nearest Neighbor-Clustering Algorithm. In addition, the network is practiced and modeled after real circumstances.Fourthly, the single-chip computer finished data collection, preliminary management and control of the equipment at spot. Meanwhile, the host computer accomplishes the management of complicated data and control of single-chip computer, and with the use of Microsoft Communications Control (MSComm) provided by VC++, the communication between single-chip computer and personal computer is accomplished.Fifthly, by using systematic algorithm of MATLAB editable intelligent fire alarm system M file, and the user surface of VC++ intelligent fire alarm system, and also with the mixed program of MATLAB and VC++, the combination of the intelligent fusion algorithm and the visible surface is realized and the final judgment results are shown on the user interface.Lastly, the experiments about the effectiveness and reliability of intelligent fire alarm system shows that the system can distinguish fire, glow fire and non-fire source and that reducing the proportion of misreport is realized.This system has the features of intelligence and high reliability, but it still needs improving in establishing fire samples database and studying quick and effective algorithm.
