Throughthe studyfound that theneutral line overload because of unbalanced three-phase and large amount ofharmonic current in the circuit.Using infrared thermometer and clip-on ammeter for Mall to neutral line weretested. Mainly determine and the three-phase line and neutral line’s temperature andcurrent. Analyses the measured data, calculate the three-phase imbalance of the circuitand the relative temperature difference of the neutral line.Assess the risk of themeasured neutral wire lead to fire.The cause of neutral line overload has been found outthrough investigating theMall.
