As the rapid development of modern industrial technology and productionworking procedure automation, it makes higher demands on the qualityspecification, dimensional precision and performance. The production level ofsteel and its proportion in rolled metal is one of the chief signs to development ofthe rolling steel. The finishing mill is finished rolling mill, and it is the core partof the hot strip steel production. The quality of rolling product mainly dependson the technical equipment and the control level of the finishing mill. Therefore,the study on the accuracy of hot rolling mill has quite important meaning toimprove the quality of rolling product.In order to improve the quality of 1780mm hot rolling product, the thesismainly research on the pre-setting accuracy of the rolling parameter, which is abasic technical measure. In this thesis, it has comprehensively been analyzing theworking theory, control method, modeling methodologies to establish themathematics model of the finishing mill and has made some improvements to themodeling and the model realization method of string roller organization controlsystem. Through simplifying system's model reasonably, model suitable formathematics model of practical engineering was given. This model not onlyaccurately embodied dynamic characteristics of this system, but also advantagedgaining accurate parameter of the system and all kinds of components.Meanwhile the model included non-linear elements that were simplifiedfrequently, effects of disturbances and changes of control system adjustmentways. In aspect of model realization, modern simulation technique and softwareof calculation are applied adequately and system simulation has been realizedthrough using dynamic structures of Simulink of Matlab software. Dynamicstructures and mathematic model are corresponding. Then the production is improved.The research result in this paper has been confirmed in the work field, andprovides the advantages analysis and the design tool to study the technology ofthe hot rolling mill.
