Thesecompounds have been characterized by EA, IR, UV and 1H NMR. We obtained twocompounds'crystal structures: 2'-(4-Methybenzylidene)-5-phenyl-1H-pyrazole-3-car-bohydrazide and 2'-(4-Methybenzylidene)-5-phenyl-1H-pyrazole-3-carbohydrazide.Moreover for the two compounds, density functional theory (DFT) methodcalculations of the structure, electronic spectra have been performed atB3LYP/6-311G** level. The results of the calculations have been compared withexperimental data and they are found to support each other.We synthesized new complexes with the novel pyrazole derivatives andcharacterized some of them by EA, IR and UV. We obtained two complexes[Co(ppc)2(H2O)2]·2H2O(1) and [Ni(ppc)2(H2O)2]·2H2O)(m)(ppc=5-phenyl-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acid anion) crystal structures. We also studied the electrochemicalproperties and thermal stability of the two complexes.We have synthesized a series of multinuclear complexes and we also havecharacterized some of these complexes by EA, IR and UV. We obtained threecomplexes ([Cu(1-MeIm)6][HgI4](Ⅰ),[Ni(1-MeIm)6][HgI4](Ⅱ) and[Co(1-MeIm)6][HgI4](Ⅲ)) crystal structures. We also studied the electrochemicalproperties and thermal stability of the complexes (Ⅰ) and (Ⅱ).
