In the first part of this paper, several nano-sulfides with special structure andmorphology had been synthesized successfully by solvothermal method using thequaternary ammonium salt of 2-undecyl-1-dithioureido-ethyl-imidazoline (SUDEI) asthe surfactant, and characterized by TEM,SEM,XRD,EDS and IR, respectively.Then, we discussed the function of this surfactant on the formation oforganic-inorganic hybrid micelles under microscopic criterion.(1) In the presence of SUDEI, we used bismuth nitrate and bismuth chloride asbismuth sources to synthesize cauliflower-like Bi2S3 and rose-like Bi2S3 viasolvothermal method at 150℃in DMF, and discussed the synergism of solvent DMFand SUDEI on Bi2S3 special appearance.(2) In the presence of SUDEI, the mono-dispersed MnS hollow spheres withdiameters of about 200-300nm were synthesized via solvothermal method in themixture of DMF and ethanol (V:V=3:1). The discussion obtained the amount ofsurfactant and solvent's choice are important to the appearance of MnS.(3) In the presence of SUDEI, copper sulfate and copper nitrate were used as coppersources, sodium hyposulfite and sodium hyposulfite as sulfur sources to synthesizemultiform copper sulfides in different solvents, and discussed the influence ofdifferent conditions on the appearance and growth behaviour of CuS. In the second part of this paper, anionic polyurethane emulsion was prepared fromthe reaction of isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI), polyether 210 and dimethylolpropionic acid (DMPA) in the presence of dibutytin dislaurate (DBTL) as catalyst.Then, methyl methacrylate and styrene were added into the polyurethane emulsion toform network structure with the help of initiator. Moreover, the end-capping agentswere also used to modify the properties of polyurethane emulsion.The performances of polyurethane emulsion such as hardness, viscosity andwater resistance were investigated. The results showed that the modified polyurethaneemulsion had better properties than the original polyurethane in some inspects..
